A couple of weeks ago I celebrated my B-day here at Mexsi Bocu. As the name suggests, the chef combines french and mexican flavours to make delicious culinary creations.
The place is really nice and the service is great, however I think the main dishes could be a bit better. Nontheless the entrées and dessert were out of this world. My recomendation would definitely be the duck tacos a la orange, shrimp and octopus tacos marinated in a chermoula sauce as entrées, duck magrets in a foie grass sauce with caramelized apples for a main dish and the créme brûlée trilogy as a desert to seal the deal.
I really wanted to try the tuna tostadas a la marsella, the ratatouille and the short rib a la bourguiñona, but oh well, one can only eat so much... I'll try it next time and report to you guys.
Ps. There are to Mexsi Bocus, one in Polanco and another one in La Roma (both in Mexico city)
