The National Art Museum is one of my favorites in Mexico City, not only for the artworks and exhibitions they hold, but because of the architecture of the building.
It used to be the Old Palace of Communications which was built by orders of Porfirio Díaz. The construction was finished in 1911 approximately with a eclectic neoclassical style.
n this Museum you can expect to find exquisite representative Mexican Art. My favorite ones are the enormous paintings that almost cover an entire wall. However, my favorite part of going to this Museum is admiring the beautiful details of the construction.
