If you are looking for a nice place to stay, I would recommend the La Purificadora Hotel. This chic hotel is right in the heart of Puebla City.
La Purificadora Hotel
1.- Start your day visiting Puebla's Cathedral
2.- Eat in the famous restaurant "La Casa de los Muñecos"
Their specialty is mexican high cuisine.
3.- Visit the Rosary Chapel
4.- Go to "La Pasita" One of the oldest and most famous mexican canteen
Open since 1916, La Pasita serves their traditional drink called pasita. It is served with cheese and dried fruit (the cheese is very strong). I would recomend you tried the Sangre de Bruja drink or the Fantasma drink.
5.- Dinner and drinks at the terrace of the Royalty Hotel
1.- Visit the Church of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios and the Pyramid of Cholula
I highly recommend arriving as soon as posible because of the long cues.
2.- Eat in the delicious restaurant of Ciudad Sagrada
With a beautiful view to the Church, Ciudad Sagrada's specialty is mexican cuisine. If you have read or seen the movie "Like Water for Chocolate" (If not I highly recommend it) you can find one of the dishes Tita prepared.
3.- Visit the Temple of Santa María of Tonanzintla
4.- Get on the Extrella de Puebla
